G. aureo sling moulted

I have just been checking on all my slings and noticed that my 2cm G. aureo has moulted in the back of his tiny little flowerpot (1" diameter)

He hasnt come out yet for me to see how much he has grown but was moving and the old exuvium is right at the back of the flowerpot.

I cant wait to see him

This little guy is the first tiny sling I got so I'm really excited and pleased that his moult was successful.

that is really good, i have a sling brazilian black and white 1cm leg span i am looking forward to it molting just to see what colour it will have (i say it as i do not know if it will be a boy or a girl)

At this size there is no real colour change. It will probably be a few more moults before they even start to show colour. You might be in for a longish wait before they look like a mini version of the adult.

Good news Elaine, i must admit my two Aureo's are amoung my favorites and it's nice when a "reasonably slow growing" T moults.
Just wish i knew where my friend was with my two Aureo adults (amoung others) he should be back from europe now!.... think i'd better phone the cells at customs

Mine is just over a inch and is showing some nice adult colours. And its one of my best eaters, once Idropped a cricket in, it landed on her and in a flash shed flipped round and nailed it!!!

I think my wee G. aureo is my favourite. I love the way he digs around his tub and the way he pounces oon his food lol. I dont care how long it takes him to grow so long as he is healthy. He is such a cool wee guy.
Can I pretty please beg some photo's of your adults when you get them??


Mike, I can just picture yours doing its flip and catch routine lol. How long did it take for yours to get to that size?

I got it around the end of Feb @ 1.5cm. Its molted twice since then, just measured it and its just over 1.25" now.

I bought mine the 17th April and this is the first moult so I wont have too long to wait woohoo!!!!
