Hi all, I'm hoping some of you can put my mind at ease.
I've had my L Klugi for about 2 months, about 3-4" LS.
From the off the T has always sat against the side of the tank, half on the ground other half against the wall, and very rarely does the spider move.
It hasn't eaten once in the time I've had it.
I've tried changing the substrate, moving into a larger viv, humidity up/down heat etc but no change in the slightest, the spider never uses the retreat provided and stays away from the heated side of the tank (averaging 23C)
If you notice in the pic there is a yellowish band (exaggerated by camera flash) which doesn't look THAT natural.
The spider also at times trys to scale the walls but can't, as if the legs have no purchase on the walls, the T seems weak and limp at times and very unresponsive (i've picked it up a number of times to try and see if there was anything wrong).
I have a L parahybana who is ten times more active, hence the concern.
Any ideas as to why the spider seems constantly depressed or could this just be an extremely long pre-moult even with no sign of a darkened opisthosoma?
