    Im a happy boy today

I received my shiny new cobalt blue through the post and she is now settling into her new home

Getting her into the tank was a bit tricky , she`s like lightning !!

    not so happy now !!

ive just noticed that her back right rear leg has been lost at some stage and she has rejuvenated it , resulting in it being skinny and lacking in colour .

Disappointed that the seller never mentioned this !!

I noticed this in the photo's, was going to comment but thought it may be taken as unnecessary critisism (which i detest myself).
Very nice spider non the less and a few moults may bring the leg in line with the others.
Can understand how you feel though as I bought a sub adult Avicularia from the show, was all cuddled up in it's tub and looked very nice, when i transfered it to it's new home i noticed it was missing leg I on the right, didn't notice when purchasing as its a hairy little thing. was a bit dissapointed but it's healthy and feeding very well. just have to wait for the moults to sort it out as best they can.

Apparantly the T was missing the leg when the previous owner got her .

She has also been mated and could well be gravid !!!!!

Colin , do you really think it will take more than one more molt to get the leg back to normal ?

Oh wow Neil, she is a beauty

I did notice the leg but it will grow back better after another moult. I do think the seller should have mentioned it. She is still a gorgeous girl though.

Fingers crossed for little un's soon

It's a possibility, i'm expecting three, maybe four moults to get my T's leg near to perfect (if, in fact, it reaches this stage)

            If she's mated.....fantastic !!!!

            Regards

            Colin

p.s. Before you say "gravid", read this thread first....

You've exchanged one beautiful spider for another Neil, I'm sorry about her leg but I'm sure it will sort itself out, and if she is 'gravid/preggers/up the duff' etc give us a shout lol.
