  • B. emilia after molt

My parents bought me a new camera today and I have taken a stack of photo's with it that were awful until I figured out the auto focus lol.

Anyway here is the first half decent pic of my B. emilia after her recent moult. She was the only T to cooperate so will try and get others tomorrow.

      Thanks Guy

It might be a bit of a wait though as I'm trying to figure out how to do close-up's and have the image stabilisation working at the same time lol. I had better practise a lot more to get even half way close to some photo's I have seen here

      Wish me luck

She is lovely Neil. Brachy's all seem to be slow growing. Mine is about half the size of yours and has just moulted but I dont know when she moulted before that. I may be in for a long wait until her next one.

              Thanks Kain

She is only approx 2 inches at the moment. Its only a guess as I havent measured any of my T's.
She is such a pretty wee thing though and really docile.

2 inches?! Wow photos can be misleading!!

Mines about 1.5 inches I would say, but she is ready to molt at the mo, so she could be 2 by the time shes finished!

Your right though, there lovely little docile spiders.

She does look bigger in the photo's but is still only little. I have put a couple more photo's in a new thread in the photo's section if you want to see a better one of her. She looks huge lol.

She was only about 1.5" before moulting.

Sorry, I went for a shower

I dont know how old she is as I only got her mid april this year. Brachy's are slow growers though so maybe 1.5yr old, just at a guess.
