+1 The only thing I dont have atm, and thats because I havent been able to find it any where local, is sphagnum moss. But I presume I could ad that later anyway, that way it wont get buried by the T!!!

Mike, your nearest garden centre should have some, if not they should be able to order it for you. Its also quite cheap (you should be able to do 6-7 tanks like mine for £5.

Well what a little sweetheart she was, no really!!

                Stage 2

I forgot all about the camera then, took the lid off and the tissue out and she came out rather gingerly.

And hid right behind one of the useless decorations of cork bark,

So I went out to get some hoppers, and put one in, and when it walked right in front of her WHAM!!!! (No not George Michael!!)

I will of course get some better pics once she comes out, then I wont see her again for months!!

Its the same with all Poecilotheria, its like an inbuilt inquisitiveness. The trick is to get your enclosure set up, take the lid of the pot they came in and put the pot, spider and all, in the enclosure. Let the spider make his/her own way out. Give it an hour and I guarantee you they will (in the dark about 30 seconds).
