  • Very annoyed and worried

I am extremely angry with Royal Mail today !

My new adult female blondi was supposed to be delivered today by 1pm as she was sent by special delivery from a guy in the southampton area .

I rang up the customer services and they have told me that she has been wrongly sent to the Plymouth sorting office instead of the Peterboro office but shall definately be with me tomorrow !!

Im really worried now she wont survive the journey , after travelling 200 miles west in the wrong direction , spending the night in Plymouth , she now has to spend another night in a parcel overnight , then travel another 250 miles to me !!

Are large T`s more hardy or more prone to perish ?

Im angry with royal mail but worried about my T !!!

Unless exposed to extreme temperatures, Ts can easily survive for a week "in the post". So long as it was packaged well, you should have nothing to worry about.

I agree, if she is packed properly, then a week or more in the post during good weather she should be ok - if a little worn out....

      Get the TLC ready

      Cheers

"If you play with fire you'll get burned". Well I keep tarantulas so does that mean I'm going to get bitten even if I'm ultra-super-careful?

        Short Answer: Yes (I have)(twice!!)(off a G.Rosea!!)

          Hi,
although the weather has been dodgy it has been warm. You r spider should be ok as Mark says if packed well. I had a H. schmidti sent from Germany a few months ago and she arrived safe and sound after nearly a week. No need to worry

Thanks goodness for that I'm glad she got to you in the end. Hopefully she will feel a bit better after a drink and settling in.

                She is gorgeous.

Not a clue, sorry Neil. It looks like a bad bruise but obviously T's dont bruise like we do. Hopefully nothing to worry about.

I will have a hunt around on google and see if I can find anything.

Looks like some sort of trauma taking place under the exoskeleton for sure.

                      Hope everything works out!

Wouldn't ne an old injury would it? With the next shed it will probably vanish..

                        Just an idea.

Neil did you make an offical complaint to RM? I would have hit the roof about it.
