Thankyou Stanley , do you put in a water dish ?
She has been drinking loads lately even tho the humidity is well up there ?

You can add a water dish if you feel she can make it. Perhaps try to wedge some tissue under it so it does not tip over.

Did you have a change to patch the area where she lost her leg? I would do that to make sure she doesn't continue to lose valuable fluid and resources.

Cricky - were only short of Rolf Harris turning up with a camera crew now and we have the Arachnid Hospital.

Neil - it seems as though everyone is keeping an eye on your spider mate! I hope it pulls through for you.

Well , amazingly she made it through the night and even had a walk across the tank !!!! albeit very lethargically

I thought she was a gonna last night , i could lift her with my finger and she was going into a curl . I did pick her up and put water into her mouth but didnt think she was going to last long! She wasnt reacting at all to me touching her !!!!

Fingers crossed shes on the mend !!!!!!!!

When i picked her up last night , i had a feel of her abdomen and that bruised bit . Her abdo was a little spongy where as that bruised bit is really hard , i cant see how she can get rid of that when and if she gets to a molt !

did you put anything on the area that is leaking fluid?

even though there is a risk i think its best to take the risk to try and stop the leaking...it may be easier to cover with something because she doesnt move much.

Update on my blondi !! Ive put her in an ICU container as she isnt looking great ! . I picked her up by hand and she barely flinched . Her abdomen is very spongy and looking a bit sunken , the bruise tho is very hard and is sticking out more . I guess its just a case of wait and see .......... and hope !!!!!

I'm hoping right along with you mate. She has been through so much already.
                            Good luck

Update on my poor blondi ........

She is stil in ICU and looking a bit rough all round . Her abdo is showing signs of pre-moult but im not convinced it actually is tho , it could be just the spreading of her injury !!

                              What do you think ?? .................................................. ..........

Good grief Niel...that doesn't look to good at all and sorry mate but in my mind she's a gonner.
I wish you had done as i said earlier and left her alone....like totally alone but it seems as if you've been playing around with her non stop.

Sure, theres no way of knowing whether she would have pulled through if she had been left alone but theres no doubt about it, your continuing interference has done her absolutely no good at all...

I don't mean to sound harsh Niel but i sincerly hope that when it's over you'll have learnt something from the experience.
