I did examine her today , couldnt face it yesterday
She seemed very wet and slimy , could this have been what is called a wet moult ? . The abdo bruise didnt go away but i dont think it was the cause of her death . I also noticed that her legs didnt look as if they had formed properly , they look shorter and twisted . Two of them also were missing the last segment on the end !!!

In the end ive come to the conclusion that she wasnt destined to survive this moult , there was just too many things wrong with her . Im just glad she is no longer suffering

Maybe she forced the moult on herself as a way of healing and she wasn't properly formed underneath.....

Now I'm wondering if my A chocoana had a wet molt, its legs are all twisted and deformed just like your blondi mate.

I think a wet moult occurs when there is a excessive leakage of hemolymph between the old and new skin , where from , who knows but obviously this has happened maybe at the bruise

The legs appear twisted because she didnt live to fill them properly with fluid

Im still gutted she has gone
