And now for a commercial break.......

Do you suffer from sluggishness and temporary immobility?

Are you experiencing loss of appetite?

Have you lost a limb recently?

Is that bald patch getting you down?

        Why not try 'MOLTING!'

Back by poplular demand! It's all the rage this summer, Popular with the kids! Everyone's doing it!

        From Mattell!

        All the best ha ha

Well, I try my best to make folks laugh. Sometimes it works, other times they just cry or throw stuff.
              Glad you liked it.

                Another one

It looks like they havent finished with the moults yet lol. I got up this morning to find that my 1.5cm A. purpurea has also moulted.

I will try and get pics later as she is still in her web. I cant see how big she is yet either but she has already cleaned house and threw her moult out.

There must definately be something in the air because I've had 7 moult on me since the beginning of the month. All successful I may add.

He (or she) is about 6.5 cm now, still only a baby. Whats made me really happy is that I have a tiny A. purpurea and a tiny B. bohemi. They both moulted on monday so they're up and running now.

If I remember right he/she was around 5 cm when you bought him/her? Its great to see her doing well. Its such a relief when they moult for the first time in your care.

Congrats on your other moults too My little A. purpurea is still stretching out after moulting last niight.

I know it sounds silly but I worry when they look obviously ready to moult but then take ages over it. After the dramas last week with my H. schmidti she is now ok and has been eating like its going to be banned soon, so I could have a moult soon there. She is one fattened up spider. Mind you my B. baumgarteni is the same, eats normally for a month or two and then binges!

I'm glad to hear your H. schmidti is doing well now. Hopefully she will be even better once she has moulted.
It isnt silly to worry about them though. I understand that completely especially when they keep you waiting forever and not eating all that time.
