c. singapore blue

Yesterday i swaped two of my t's for a 4-5" cyriopagopous blue, but it looked more like my C. thorelli.
What size does the blue start to show through?

I'm not sure but when you say it looks the same as your C. thorelli is it lime green? If so you've got a male and these from the C.schioedtei (thorelli) and the Singapore sp. blue look very similar. Also has he matured? if so there will be a bright reed bulb (embolus) on the back of each pedipalp just above the foot of the pedipalp. If there is advertise him for breeding on the bulletin board here quick!

Not sure what sex it is but i know it hasnt matured yet.
have supplied photos just really want to make sure it is a C.blue, thorelli.
the markings and coloration look the same.

It depends on how they are kept, but you should have nice blue flashes on the next molt, it will have bluish hints to the underside already, check to see if they are there. It does look like a juv sing'er to me...

cheers mark, just checked the underside cant see any blue but like you say hopefully in the next shed it shall start to come through.
Already had a close encounter whilst trying to rearrange the tank. never seen anything move like that certinatly made me jump.

i recently got one of these, any care hints? only had it a week and am going to get it a decently sized tank tomorrow as i've not been able to get to the petshop since i got it.
i was told the humidity was quite high and temperatures around 28C-31C, so i guess i'll try to mimic that.
she's beautiful, leggy and with a strong personality...just wants a bit of feeding! my perfect girl lol!
