Straigten a metal coat hanger - heat this up till hot and poke the holes, leaves a nice clear hole with no sharp edges. You can normally do five holes on one heat up..

    Darn site faster than drilling...

    Cheers
    Mark

i had that same problem on a tank made for my boa, and so i just cut off the sharp bits with a sharp knife, they just sawed off rather cleanly!
            hope that helps!

              Or...

Or you could drill them from the inside out, that way the sticky outtie bits would stick out on top side rather than the inside.

Now here's one I made earlier........

I wasnt able to drill from the inside at its an arboreal tub so the drill wouldnt fit inside. I managed to get it done and ita all ready for my new Avic arriving tomorrow

Do you rememeber that classical time when they decided to have an elephant on the show? It totally dragged the keeper around the studio and then poo'd everywhere!

Hi Elaine, I use a bigger drill bit (not in the drill just by hand) and just give it a few turns it smoothes it off with no scratches.
                            Hope this helps
