i would like to thank you for introducing us (Chris Sainsbury an i) into the wonderfull world that is calles the buff. this piece of hi-tech fabric not only helped me look like an absolute journalist pro, protecting my neck from the sharp camera strap:

I agree the buff is essential when traveling in remote places.


Its ideal for sitting in the sun and watching your local guide chainsaw a 90ft tree which is blocking the river.


Thus stopping a funeral party, coffin and all make their way to Indonesia and us going back down stream...

That happens to be Deans as I lost mine while driving through the mainland the week before. It was useful as well to keep the nasties off my cut in the head, which I had to have 5 stitches in just the day before!

Yes you can't have enough buffs, I will be buying two for next years trip.
