  • Help! - Orphaecus spp.

    Hello!

A friend of mine recieved a shipment of these and we are not sure the best way to care for them. Is there anyone that has some info and the best keeping practices such as substrate, humidity, temps, temperment...burrowers? etc? We would appreciate hearing from you! Thank you!

Hi Tabby these have been floating around the hobby in the UK for a while. they are not big spiders and I have some doubts as to their true identity.

I keep them as I keep my Haplopelma, Selenocosmia.

A deep substrate, as they love to burrow and a fairly high temp and humidity.

    Hope this helps

      Hi Ray,

Yes this helps...thank you! We did some research on their homeland and I figured that would be the best way but just wanted to make sure.

      Thank you!
