  • My crazy day

    Hi All

Just thought i would share my crazy day today...
This morning i was ready to leave for work, and as normal I had a quick peek at my two slings to make sure they are ok before I leave.
I keep them both in a dark corner of my house so I cant see them too clearly without a light on. I noticed that my curly haired was waving at me, and at this point i thought, either had a very affectionate T or something was wrong.
I flicked the light on and to my amazement he was molting! A larger white sling was wriggling out of my old one!
I watched him for a bit, ( Im not sure if its the most beautiful or disgusting thing i've ever seen) but then I realised I had to get to work, I was gutted because I wasn't gonna be there to see if he pulled through or not.
All day at work I was worrying that he didn't make it and I cursed that he didn' wait till saturday to molt! Anyway I rushed home and to my delight there was a bigger, more hairy sling , sat in his water bowl.

Sorry if i bored anyone with this thread but as this was my first molt ever , Im over the moon he pulled through...Its like its there way of telling you that you have done a great job raising them.

You're not boring anyone! I remember my first moult, totally fascinated but at the same time not wanting to disturb him in case something went wrong. What a feeling when its a success!
sigpicHate is for people who find thinking a little too complicated!

Never boring, I remember our first shed, its the most amazing thing ever. Causes hair loos thru worry but always exciting, its like having a brand new T everytime.
We go thru loads of moults every week & it never ceases to amaze me.

I find moults fascinating. It always amazes me how the Ts know when it's time.
