First Aboreal

Hi all. I have 3 T's at the moment which I have had for quite. A B.Smithi, A.Geniculata and a G.Rosea. I am looking at getting my first aboreal but can not decide between a P.Regalis or a A.versicolor.

Which would be best for my first, and what sort of size enclosure would each need as adults??

Are pokies really as bad as everyone seems to make them out to be?? I do not handle my T's, so speed should not be an issue.

Any tips or suggestions please??

As long as you don't handle them, it should not make a diff. I purchased a versicolor, and shortly thereafter I bought my Pokie (P regalis).

I only handle T's if I have an escapee, or need to re-house.

Hi!

I think they are both good starter for arboreal, Pokies are way over rated imo but they do have potent venom so as long as you don't handle it you will be fine.
If you go with the pokie just buy a spiderling so your knowledge will grow with your spider
