  • Euathlus species growth rate

I purchased a Euathlus truculentus 1cm spiderling in May 2007, along with some Ephebopus murinus, cyanognathus and an Ornithoctonus aureotibialis. All of the others have moulted at least once (the murinus twice!) but the little truculentus refuses to moult. It's fat and began eating very well, but has been refusing food for a while now. So was wondering on their growth rate.

Do these have similar growth rates to that of Grammostola,Brachypelma etc?

    Any info much appreciated!

I have an E.t myself which I got back in may (from Lee @ thespidershop.co.uk) and mine has molted 3 times while I have had it. It seems to be growing about the same rate as my tiny B smithi.

Ive had a molt about every 5 weeks or so.

Then yours is probably a sac mate to mine as we got them at the same time and from the same place! Mine has not moulted even once...!!
