  • Aphonopelma sp. longevity

I've heard Aphonopelma species live a long time, but are all the species long lived? How long can i expect my A. seemani and a desert blond to live?

I acquired an Aphonopelma schmidti in 1986 it was adult, it has just past away 2007. 21 years in my care, must have been around 12 or more when I got it.

So yes they can be very long lived depending on the species.
