i now the film is not basted on facks like how long the spiders can run but i love 8 leged freaks, my fayzer it bit has the trap door spiders in it ( i sore the jumping spiders in it but i borrowed a book from the Libra at silent world in tenby i read that they are very small shame ).
if you have not see it you must see it lots of different Ts in tanks at begging and then they get relay bigger. it is a good comedy

There can never be a factual Hollywood film on spiders as it would bore the pants off the general public. Hence why they have to beef things up and prey on peoples fears and lack of knowledge.

Arachnophobia is another film with more holes than Swiss cheese! and to be honest annoys the hell out of me, but if its on, I still end up watching it.

Eight legged freaks is entertaining but as we all know total rubbish as far as accuracy goes, but its still a good film....

its just not politically spider correct and again just instills yet more paranoia and fear into an un-educated and misinformed spider fearing public, something the BTS spends a great deal of time trying to put right.

but seriously, it's sad how hollywood plays on people's fears like that!
i haven't yet seen 8 Legged Freaks yet, but i'm sure i'll get around to it one day. the fact it's not correct won't stop it being enjoyable though

people's paranoia is disgusting, really. i was chatting to a girl in the states online the other day, who openly admitting to "liking killing snakes".
and you have these complete idiots that went on stingray hunting spree's after Steve Irwin accidentally managed to impale himself on one's spine (to be honest, that could only ever happen to him!!! the irony of it, i mean!)
as a species, we really don't add much to the planet, yet because a creature is arbitrarily deemed as "creepy", you have these muppets who go out of their way to destroy them!
and that link from the Sun i posted a few days ago further shows how the media is also conspiring against innocent animals.
the Matrix was right: we are a virus. but i think we can choose not to be, and try to educate people as well.

Eight legged freaks is one of the funniest films I had seen in ages lol. My late husband couldnt breath he was laughing so hard. We bought it when it was first released and have watched it numerous times.
Its worth watching for the comedy factor alone.
