With this new pair my count has gone upto 29. There arent really any others I want at the moment so I'm just going to enjoy the ones I have. They are all doing well, moulting, eating, digging etc.

29 wow, I don't have enough room for that many, + 5 cats 2 dogs 1 gp and a rabbit and of course my 2 T's (soon to be 3)

I have today purchased a Greenbottle blue sling which I am very excited about. Have purchased from Dan at the Tarantula shop, will have to wait until next Friday as I am working until then. Can't wait Haven't told him in doors yet he he.

Excellent choice on the GBB. I have one that has just moulted but so far I have only seen her butt through all the webbing. The are very beautiful even as slings.
29 might sounds a lot but most of them are slings. That gives me plenty of time to convert my huge walk in cupboard into a T room. I already have 6 parrots, 2 large dogs and a ferret too lol. Its like a mini zoo here

Wow 17 pokies? I havent been brave enough to get one yet. I like the look of the P. miranda but they are quite pricey. I will give myself some time to get used to the speed of the Avics before I try something as fast but more defensive.

BTW remember I said I wouldnt get an H. lividum? I got a sling as a freebie lol. 1cm big and gave me a threat posture during unpacking She is now settled into her new home and been named by my daughter, Baby Blue.

Nice choice of name. If you want to get a Pokie but are worried about speed, then P. miranda are the most docile of the ones I've seen. I have an adult female and she gets upset if she has to overtake a snail. She's webbed up in her moulting cycle at the mo, so next month I'm going to be looking to buy a male for her if I can get one. I think more Avics are needed though!

It looks like the P. miranda would be my best choice as a first pokie then. They are rather pretty too which is an added bonus Thanks for the info about yours. Buying more will have to wait a bit though as daughters 16th birthday coming soon. I'm probably best buying a sling rather than a juv or adult to give me time to get used to it.

I hope you manage to find a good male for your girl. Best of luck with that.
