    Nervous

    My little L. para has been on her back since 3pm and I'm already a nervous wreck
    Its so much easier when they moult during the night for you to find them all fresh and new in the morning. I know the spider knows what she is doing and all will be fine but hey, I cant help being a worrier.

    Here she is when we got her a few weeks ago


    I will update the pic when its all over. I can see its going to be a very late, nail biting night for me.

      Thanks Chris. I have a pot of coffee brewing as we speak and Lord of the Rings film on tonight but I can see her from here so can keep an eye on her.
      Why did I get into this hobby? lol.

        in a simular sitution,waiting for my 2in b.smithi to moult,dont even know how long hes got to go, and i seem to be looking for him every hour lol
        he gone very quiet and almost no moving arond

          Hopefully your smithi wont keep you waiting too long or you will get up one morning and he will be all bright and shiny new

          The little L. para has started to moult woohoo Oh boy, this is exciting.

              She is nearly out

              I got a couple of photo's but only through the tub so not great. Didnt want to disturb her. Will post them soon.

                    Woohoo!!!!! She made it out with all her legs, pedipalps, fangs the whole lot. Oh what a buzz lol.

                    She is still on her back but ok.

                          Photo's

                          She is still on her back but starting to go grey now instead of white. Sorry the photo's arent great but I didnt want to move her tub during moulting.









                          I will take a few more pics when I'm putting her into a bigger tub in a week.

                              I hope you get to see your smithi moult. Its amazing.
