HELP! urgent accident moulting

question on behalf of my brother
"came in and found container of T(juvey GBB) knocked upside down by the cat (substrate on top of log ect.) Picked log up to find T enclosed in web from what I can see there were a spider and skin so it must have been moulting but cant see weather its fully moulted. Have placed the T upright and log balaced against the side. Is that what he should have done and what should he do from here?"

I'd say gently try to brush away the substrate so you can see what state the spider is in, then leave it be for a while.

Thanks, well just got a phone call off my bro saying that the T had fully moulted and is scrunched up (like they normally are after they moult) looks like its web tunnel has saved it, fingers crossed.

it should be ok there are hardier than we all think. dont worry. it will be fine.
