    late last nite just be for bed looked in on my chile rose taking ages to molt in his hiyed all webed up and i looked at my mantiss on the floor of its tank, with 2 crikets in there not masive 1s and he was standing funy lookes closers and it head is gon carnt work out how its food did it

    Dont know why your crix have bitten its head off but the girl mantids eat the males by there head first because it keps em alive. There brains are in there bits so they dont die staright away.

      im was looking at the giant mantiss. when the chile rose molts dose the head and back stay dull as it legs look brighter, he came out for a work then back in to its webbed hayed
