Much as people like to complain about the Royal Mail, bear in mind two things:

1) at least in the UK you are allowed to call a strike without facing the sack instantly - unlike other Western 'progressive' 'civilised' 'modern' (and so on and so forth) nations I can think of.

2) I used to live in Uruguay. Over there the postal services react with shock only when you actually receive what you were expecting.

No matter how much postal strikes get on my nerves, those two things always manage to brighten me up.

I wish they did have that policy in the UK. I have had nothing but a bad level of service from the royal mail the last 5 years. We have made complaint after complaint to them which always falls of deaf ears. They have no sympathy from me.

Which brings me to the next point, post has just came and still no journal - Still no ebay item either!

Maybe we should send this thread to the post office and ask if next time they could find another way of negotiating which won't cause so much unhappiness.

I love gettting the journal but i am wondering why the journal
isnt send via the www to all members in pdf like older
ones are available, then anyone who wanted
a hard copy could print it out themself
it would cut costs on the bts and save on all the postage problems,
also on paper waste.

i dont want that to happen, it just crossed my mind and i was wondering.........

As I already told Ray, the last issue I got was Vol 22 No 2 (You know, the one with the GBB pic on the front). I cant remember when it came out but it seems like it was last Spring sometime?
Anyway has there been an issue sent out since that one that I should have gotten?

Vol 22 No 3 has been issued since, Brian. It has a picture of a female Heterothele villosella on the cover

p.s. Still no journal here in North Wales. This morning's post has been and gone.
