  • Another new baby

This little G. inheringi arrived this morning from Gem Lee (thanks hun xx) in the best packaging I have seen so far.
She wandered out and headed straight over for a drink then headed to the end at the heatmat for a warmup.
I'm absolutely over the moon to have this little lady.

Gorgeous! Don't see many of these about. They are on my wish list. Was it off Lee at the Spidershop? I'm expecting an order from him next week. Can't wait. Amongst others it's got an adult female A.Geniculata in there. One of my Favourite T's. I'm hoping she's as big and gorgeous as I'm expecting her to be. I have to say Elaine, you take some cracking pictures. What camera do you use?

          Thanks Steve

I bought the G. iheringi from Gem Lee who is a member here. She is a lovely lady.
You will love the A. genic. I have a 2cm sling here that already has attitude lol. Throws a threat pose at the slightest thing.

I use a kodak easyshare c763 camera. Not too expensive but takes decent enough photo's for what I need. I bought it especially for the image stabilisation mainly because my hands shake quite badly lol.

Oh I see. I thought it was off Lee at the spidershop and he was a "gem" lol. I already have 3 A.Geniculata's, as I say they are one of my favourites. 2 slings, 2cm and 3cm, all have recently moulted. The 3cm sling is looking gorgeous, really starting to show some colout now. I also have a 2 inch Juvenile. She's very nervous (I say she, but as yet unsexed) We call her Frosty. Can't wait for the Adult to come next week. Tank all ready and waiting for her. We're still pondering names. lol.

She's being accompanied by another 8 slings and a juvenile P.Cancerides. I had no idea this hobby would become so addictive. I need to calm down now or the kids will be getting spiders for christmas!

              A. genics are a gorgeous T. I have a 1.5cm sling here that is as cute as can be. Quite happy to show a threat posture too lol.

I have 31 here at the moment with 6 more to come and hopefully another 3 soon after. That will complete my collection hopefully.

I know George but when there are other avics that just shout to be bought, what can I do?

The 6 coming are 5 P. cambridgei slings and a juv A. metallica. I have just placed an order for 2 A. azuraklaasi and 1 A. cf purpurea

Should I put a warning on the title when I post piccies? lol.

No warning needed on your next pic posts

I'm currently waiting 2 A minatrix slings and a 2.5" Female A minatrix, plus 4 versi slings. And am waiting on a P metallica shipment within 3 weeks, so my dance card is full

I also said I would stop at 30, that was 10 T's ago!!!

Sounds like I'm not the only one who's addicted. Personally I only collect New World Terrestrial/Burrowing species. Not that I think the others aren't worth bothering with, I'm just a little nervous about having aggressive spiders in a home with 3 small children. Just in case

This next lot will take me up to 49. I'm hoping to buy number 50 at the Newark show in December. Unless something takes my fancy in the mean time. I thought I'd stop at 2! lol. My wish list is huge. I suppose I'll keep going until the space runs out. Hmm, maybe an extension is in order. hehe.

Well thank goodness for that. I was beginning to get worried about hurting your feelings when I post pics lol.

Nice choices for your new additions.

Yip, total addict here lol. I said I would stop at 10 but with 9 to come will take my total to 40
I wont be buying any more unless someone advertises A. fasciculata slings for sale. I want to grow this little lot on a fair bit now and I already have most of what I want.
I dont need to worry to much about what I buy as my youngest child is nearly 16 and she loves the T's as much as I do.
