  • Introducing myself

    Good Morning all

Name is Andre Edwards, been keeping tarantulas now for 6 years. Always had a interest in them just never had the opportunity to start the passion until 6 years ago.

I now have 17 . I started as most people do with a Chilean Rose whisg is still "my baby" if I can say that. I can list all 17 if needed.

One of the favorites is my Lasiodora Parahybana. She is a beauty. She is about 6 inches leg span and shed last week. Man the colurs on her are amazing right now. She is a real model tarantula as well. She is in a 3 foot tank set up with plants and a log where she has dug her hole which she never uses. She is forever sitting outsid ein full view, showing off.

Anyway I can ramble on all day. Just a quick port to say hello .

    Andre

      Hi Andre and welcome

I love the L. para aslo. Mine is only 3 inches and as sweet as can be. She is one of my better tempered T's surprisingly.

I look forward to hearing more about yours.

              Hi Oli and Andy

Thanks for the welcome. The salmon pink is in great colour. She shed last week. She was looking haggard before the shedding.

Mary, your L. para's (when your girl gets around to dropping the sac) are going to be giants if the parents are anything to go by

Oli, the parents are rather large, both are mine, the male Noel is the only one I have from her first sac 4 years ago, he is going on 10 inches span, Button, the female is about 9 inch span.

Barbara, a look into the hobby with just a few is like a big box of chocs, you can't stop at one, you have to taste them all.
