Atypus affinis - British tarantula?

Hi everyone please bear in mind that thes guys are protected in the Uk and if you find them in the wild you should leave them be.

I know its tempting but please think before you take them.

A good point, and one i should have mentioned earlier.

If you do find any in an area not already logged on the BAS map on Phils post then (if possible) a photographic record and precise location should be forwarded to the British Arachnological Society so they may update the distribution list after confirmation.
