  • Eucalyptus Bark for T`s ?

Does anyone know if its ok to use the bark from eucalyptus tree for arboreal tarantulas like avics ? I have loads fallen from my tree and think it would be ideal for spiders but just wanted to check it was ok

heres a pic of some of it

    Hi Kevin,

I know that lemon eucalyptus oil is used as an insect "repellent" (the same as citronella oil is used in some BBQ candles) and i beleive it's made from the leaves and flowers (may be wrong there)

There's loads of insects and spiders that use these trees as their natural habitat so, in general, i would imagine its ok. i'd do a bit of research before you commit to using it.

"if your not 100% sure, dont use it" is my advice.
