Are you going to offer your pokie some food tonight? My new friends are all munching like pigs...they settle so quickly.

Anyways...heading for bed I am, much sleep I am needing!
I fed my parahybana because it attacked my chop sticks (i dont have forceps; im a peasant ) and I assumed it wanted food.

James, as I said before; "GLAD TO HAVE YOU ABOARD SON". Im just really sorry about all the supernatural mishaps we were having lol. Just glad you got home finally mate

well so much for waiting for morning, i just tended to some of the new scorps as they had no substrate, and made a cup of tea to warm my insides after the voyage home, so thought i'd post again afterall! time enough for sleep in the grave, anyhow

Colin, thanks so much for picking me up at Leicester, i know it was probably the most impractical route for me to choose, both ways, but it was fun chatting...for me the social aspect was as important as the pets, so was great to meet you, your son and Toren in the car
Toren, thanks mate for the two iodius! was cool to meet you and talk about dangerous scorpion colonies and fundamentalist religion vs Harry Potter lol
Yvonne, was nice to meet you and Mick, however briefly
Mary and Trev...always a pleasure, and thanks so much for the two cambridgei!
Sonny and Jay, was great to see you both again. Jay, thanks for talking me into that crawshayi! she's so beautiful! she has a proud bearing...very fittingly regal for a king baboon!
Andy, if you check this site in time to read this, was great to hang out with you again mate! your enthusiasm for stick insects is bound to rub off on me eventually
Louise, it was great fun meeting you and your entourage, you're a really good laugh! cracked me up with your "lightsabre"...though it's a bit short...(enter Space Balls joke about the Schwartz and relative size here lol) hope to see you at every spider/bug show after this!
Ray, was cool to meet you! i'm looking forward to putting up that Pokie poster.
Lee, good to see you as well! i got a couple of H spinnifers from your table today, which i am quite pleased with!
Oli, you're a good lad! was great meeting you and having that chat! your girlfriend was cool, though shame she didn't enjoy the day as much as us spider geeks, and your friend Holly was cool too...hope she enjoys her stick insects! thanks for that ride, it was more of an adventure then the alternative and alot more fun, even with the stress lol! everything seems to have survived the trip despite the freezing wind, so all is well.
Gem (if you check this board still), you ran off real quick, i was about to show you how much cuter my centi was than yours! great to see you none the less
i really hope i've missed no one! if i have, it's cause i'm about to pass out!

        zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It was great to see everyone again yesterday, even though I wasn't really up to it.

Ray, what do you mean, 'was I done with the africans'? I bought 4 from Lee so I hope not, I tust that lad.

Lovely to meet Louise and Lorraine? Sorry I was not with it.

Hehe Colin. They are fast lil slings.

I had a little emergency of my own putting a borrowed male back in his box and he got out, you all know I am scared witless of them, so Trev had to catch it lol.

Hi everybody, just to say it was great to put the faces to the names and see some friends again. We didn't make much money on our stall but it's more about socialising, I think! (and buying some new spids) Hello to Mary & Trevor, Ray G, Colin W (got the comp working, thanks!) Ollie, Jay & Sonny, Simon G, Mark Titterton, Mark ?, and others whose names escape me ( It's my age!)
There seemed to be a few more of the public there this year, some probably buying their first spider, scorp, sticky, etc. Good to see people interested, even though the weather was awful!! Can't wait for the next one, whenever that will be!? Got a male avic avic (yes, I know, sp. Guyana!) so can now have a go again with the female!

Hey Steve, was great too meet you mate, sorry your stand didnt make much, but I got my L. Parahybana from you and that (along with the togo MARY stole from my grasp!!!) was the main spiders I was interested in getting! Great specimin, thankyou very much
And Mary, although your a togo grabber, I hope you get on with that roach, any questions drop me a PM. Also I'm eternally in your debt for those cambridgei, they are gorgeous. Damn fast though, those things have wheels! My girlfriend knocked the container over in the car so i had to carefully check it was ok then WHAM out it came fast as hell lol.

Hello to all. Mick and myself relly enjoyed the bug show, It was fantastic to meet you Mary and Louiseand James, sorry it was so short but i wanted to get my charges home. I came home with with a A fantastic Fireleg, also apair of Empera Scorpions (one a pregnant female) acording to Mr Gabrial anyway and she must be or she is very overweight lol.also aChilean Rose, and a couple of slings a Curly Hair and a Red knee, Need my specs to see them.all seem to have settled in ok but not fed yet.Ihad a bit of a panic with the Scorpions when mid morning the female was giving the male areal good hiding i felt real sorry for him so i split them up and now i feel guilty as they are on there own , i was thinking of getting them much bigger quarters and more hiding holes to see if that helps.Glad to hear you got home ok James with all your charges really good to meet you. To be honest Mary i didnt feel to great either think i picked up a bug lol!!!!! Had to have have a reason as i still had plenty of cash left. Never mind like Mick said leaves room for things to buy at the next one. Thanks to all in here it is great to share my new interest and it also gives Colin a break as we live close and he is fantastic he is allways there if i need any advise or help and we share angling as another hobby and that makes Mick feel so much more included. Once again great to meet everyone.

*exhausted*...major busy day, back to the usual chaos here (snake and frozen mice sales), so this has been the first chance I have had to get online!
James...LOL...my light sabre may be small, but it is mighty in spirit...or something like that! How's that cute little toad settling? I'll definitely hope to be seeing you at every show too!

Rebecca...sorry I knew I'd forget names in my tiredness...it was lovely meeting you too.

Yvonne, sounds like you had some real beauties to take home...and I hope you're not coming down with the latest evil winter bug!

Mary...I only realised how shattered I was after getting home...the company kept me in high spirits while I was at the show, so thanks again for sharing time with me...have you named those spideys yet?! lol I'm still working on names for my new ones...so far I've managed Yoda, Leah, Humbug & Squib!

I hope that everyones' purchases are happy, settled and doing well today...mine are looking good...but there's a small matter of some spare empty tubs....uh oh! lol

empty tubs is a problem here too Louise.

didn't pick up any of the slings i wanted, Lee didn't bring any which caught me off guard. looks like its "place an order" time or maybe a day trip to sunny welsh wales isn't it
