  • Avic Escape!

One of my Purple Avic slings has been lost for over a week (lid came off in the incubator tub and he got out somehow) anyway I had given up hope but then I got a call from my girlfriend saying she'd caught him walking across our ceiling!

This is pretty lucky seeing as how freezing cold, and dry our house is - to last around a week in these conditions is surprising! Well hes back in the warm 'rainforest' now and feeding again so crisis over! (until the housemates find out that is!)

......also little do they know but I have custom built a home for the absolutely massive Segestria florentina living in a crack outside my house so shes coming to join the party soon!! will post pictures ASAP.....!

    fantastic!
i'm really glad you found the Avic, that can be a nightmare!
i'm pretty fortunate, as my housemates are pretty tolerant of my obsession with animals, though i think i may talk their ears off about it too much!
other than that, they don't seem to mind at all.

Glad to hear you found the avic.
Due to my recent searches of UK spiders I found a nice site and hey presto - Segestria florentina, it bites!
