As the end of 2007 draws every nearer, its time to reflect on the past 12 months. What a year it has been, the BTS Exhibition moved venue, despite a few teething problems it was, as usual a great event and we thank everyone for there support and making the show such a great day.
Special thanks to Ray and Ange who give up so much of their free time to organise this!
In 2008 will we address these few problems and it should be yet another; fine and improved event.
The BTS lectures entered their 5th year and it was excellent to see so many new and regular faces attend. We had some fine lectures and Kim and I are looking forward to the 6th year Feb 2008 when we have yet another excellent line up. Including Fernando Perez-Miles (there are few places left BTW - plug plug!)
This forum has grown extremely well this year and the additions of the Theraphosidae Gallery, we have one of the best accurate galleries on the net, a big thanks to those involved in the Theraphosidae member group, as our knowledge grows so shall this gallery!
The new bulletin board seems to work well and complaints to me about rogue traders have stopped. Hopefully this area will take off more in the new season. Thanks to those traders who purchased Premium trader group packages, without you guys I could not have made these improvements. Everyone should support these fine responsible traders.
Also big thank you to the 2 new moderators who I dropped in the frying pan this year, without notice I might add
. They both stepped up to the challenge and have done excellent work thanks guys.
The forum! Well what can I say; we seem to have collected such a fine bunch of tarantula enthusiast and thank you for making this such a great place to share information and knowledge.
So without further ado I just like to wish everyone a
Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year on behalf of all the BTS Committee and forum staff.
Thanks everyone! without you the BTS would be nothing!
