"More... if I stick more in around the water dish there wont be a gradient... just a room with a low ceiling"

Well if your RedKnee wants to decorate the ceiling at least she wont have far to reach then she wont need to extend the the paint roller

Looks good to me but as Colin said she wont need to much height this will avoid injury if she falls
(umm I see an opening in the market for half height vivariums)

you can easily get smaller vivs from Woolworths for a fiver or less:P
not as "pretty" as exo terra, but more shapes to choose from.

If you want a good viv, try the exo Terra ones for sale (usually) at the Spider Shop. Also you can get a thermometer and hygromometer and water dish there (I recommend the small one). If you want some thing larger I use Clear Seal tanks size 18 x 15 x 12 inches with viv lids. You can get these from your pet shop. Also something I noticed which goes down well is sphagnum moss. I started using it for more humid tanks but when I put it in my Brachy vivs and it dried out they love it! because it is soft it is used a lot as a moulting mat, my Brachy bohemi abandoned her 'cave' to moult on the moss the other night. Give it a try, any garden centre should sell the stuff.

I bought a huge bag of this recently for my water dragon. I hadn't thought of drying it out for my Ts, sounds interesting. However my Klugi isn't a fan of leaves and dried grass that I've used in her enclosure - she dumps them in the corner of the tank where she toilets! I may give this a try to see if she's keen on it.

Nicola, where do you find the clear tanks?

            Hi Peter,
I get them from my pet shop, believe it or not! What they are effectively are fish tanks with viv lids on, but they work perfectly. If you go into your local pet shop and ask if they have any 18 x 15 x 12 inch tanks with viv lids, preferably Clear Seal ones, you'll be ok. They should be able to order if there are none in the shop. Cost is a little high (around £45 for the tank and lid) but these are top quality glass tanks. Also if you're putting moss in with tarantulas who need high (ish) humidity, keep it moist. it will help the air humidity (great for arborials) and they love playing on it (at least mine do). All the best

                Thanks Nicola
I took a look at their site: http://www.clearseal.com/
You can view various tanks and the viv lid on there.
