Just out of curiosity, does anyone offer a tarantula sexing service, or is anyone about to start one? Perhaps the BTS (though I know how much you have to do as it is) would think of starting one?

Hi Nicola we used to run a sexing service where people sent various committee members their skins and we sexed them Trouble was some of us got flooded with skins in all sorts of condition and everyone wanted an imediatte answer. Some even got very abusive when we told them their spider wa s a male rather than the female they had bought it has. One petshop owner accused me of swapping the spider!!!!! It all got a bit out of hand to be honest. I had one skin arrive in powder form after being sent in an envelope.
We do sex them at the Exhibition though. Usually on the BTS stand or thereabouts. A nominal charge of 50p per spider goes back into the club.
Best wishes

I think I may try for a communal arrangement...actually, no I won't...if the local council spots them they'll try to buy them as OAP homes. hehehe
