A wee while back, my Mex Red Knee was off food and tended towards being shy. Again I was thinking that this was a sign of pre-molt as this had happeden before, not that long ago infact. I had posted up questions round about that time and got good feedback. So I had an idea that history was repeating itself. I cam into my bedroom last night and peered down the enterence of the burrow, to my amazment my T was on its back, I was pretty exited. I went back theough to the living room for a ciggy to calm my nerves. I came through and had a wee look, not a movement or a twitch, infact my t was on its back for what felt like ages without a thing. Later I had a look and it was making moves to break free from its old skin, it looked whitish on parts that I could see. The molt was successful, well it appears to be. My T has remained underground for now, I can see it tho, it looks rather skinny again but at the same time is larger, well longer legs ect. I will leave it alone to gather strength. I was reading that it can be a good idae to up the humidity for a couple of days. Anyways i am looking forward to seeing my T on the 'out' as it were. I can see it looks really colourful. Well you guys I thought I would share the good news.

great, Andrew! always nice to watch them growReturning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

If it's moulted successfully then the conditions will be adequate with the humidity as it is. Just make sure the waterbowl is topped up.
Leave it to harden up and wait for a nice new spider to show itselfDon't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.
