tonight, in the midst of showing off my zoo to some visitors, i noticed my little C crawshayi sling, which some may remember a month or two ago was languishing but managed to nurse it back to health with the sage advice of Louise, was again acting strangely, slightly curly-legged. i thought oh no! might have to tend to it night and day for a week again, and this time not be so lucky...
well i had to go out this evening, but asked my housemate to water it, which he kindly did.
i rushed on the way back home, eager to start the treatment. when i opened its jar, i had such a shock! the little legend had moulted! it is now stretching out its new cuticle. i should frame the exuvium after the stress this thing has put me through
needless to say, i'm well chuffed!
PS, sorry...yes, this is a "hey, my spider just moulted" thread, but due to the adventures i've already had with this one, i had to post a celebratory thread thanks for the patience of anyone reading
