Peter's replys are all valid and good sound advice from someone who knows a thing or two, I do have feeling that Matt my be using an online site builder program, am I right ---- Yes?

If this is the case then best download WYSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) program, and try building the site this way, plenty of good free ones about.

Or try a getting a copy now obsolete Micorsoft Frontpage 2003, (been superseded by Sharepoint services) Is a good start and well alow you to create a good site without to much hassle and has a choice of WYIWYG and code views.

This is pretty cheap now there are Office 2008 programs launched. Could well be a free.

or Better still something like Adobe Dreamweaver then create the site in this and upload via FTP..

If you need any help contact myself or indeed Peter. In the meantime the main thing is that the group has now a presence on the internet. I will add a link to this on our links page.

Keep up the good work you'll get there in the end..

    All the best
    Mark

      "Food

locusts , large black crickets and the occasional pinkie are the best foods to feed a Salmon pink .There is no hard and fast rule as to how much you feed a tarantula, A tarantula only eats when it is hungry"

This is not true, you need to change it. Spiders are oppertunistic hunters and will feed whenever its possible (excluding coming upto the moult cycle). This is a large topic of debate, however, spiders never know when the next meal is coming, and so they will take what they can get.

thanks for everyones feedback. i am new to this and this is the first sit that i have made, and Mark yes you are right, i did use a site builder programme. i bought the webspace with a company called streamline and the price included their top sit builder package, and it restricts on some of the things i can do. i did build what i thought was a brill site with frontpage editor, but to be able to launch it, i would have had to pay more money to have front page extentions and i was working to a tight budget as we do not have alot in our club funds at the moment so i did it as cheaply as possible. i appologise for any inacuracies in the care sheet data, i just published data i was given by other members of the club commitee. once again thanks for taking the time to have a look at my site, you will all be glad to know i am about to go and remove the flash page from the site, cus i myself am finding it slightly irritating now lol

Getting peoples comments, experiences, amends and additions is known as "usability testing" and helps to identify issues that the visitor finds which the creator can become blind to. Its one of the best ways to improve a site.
If you intend to create more websites I'd thoroughly recommend Dreamweaver, you might even pick up an old copy (under Macromedia rather than Adobe) for a low price. Frontpage is notoriously bad with code, Dreamweaver isn't perfect but it does allow some advanced features and the ability to see sites in raw code, WYSIWYG or both simultaneously.
It's a shame to throw away the Flash intro but it's sensible tbh. If you wish to use Flash in sites limit it to features rather than the whole page. Flash has definitely improved and will do so even more now that Adobe owns it, but as a whole page none of the text becomes searchable or allow C&Paste.
I'm not au fait with your sitebuilder app but you should take a look at some of the things I've mentioned. You could easily add them in raw code for which you need nothing more than Notepad.
Keep up the good work, most people won't be as judgemental as me

Hi, I would echo the above comments, and suggest that you lose the horrible cursor following 'stringy' thing (for want of a better description!). They are extremely annoying

Other than that, well done, and keep up the good work.
