  • Poecilotheria striata

Hi everyone. Just a quick question. I have a male P. striata which matured a few weeks ago. He has a purple glow to his carapace like P. formosa. Is this normal?

By the way He's still available for breeding loan!

      Hello,

Male Poecilotheria vary enourmously, i have had males with no sheen to the sheen going over the legs, brown males - green males-black and white males (regalis), all species tend to be highly variable even from the same eggsac, and this includes size also.
