Hey guys,
here is my question today.
My Chile Rose has went on hunger strike and I am aware that they can do so for a great deal of time.
When it went off foon I assumed it was in pre-molt, but time has went on, well I think it has, perhaps two weeks and no sign of molting.
Can it be off food longer before a molt, ie. more than two weeks.
If it is off food and off food for some time are there other indicators other than gobbling food up that my T will exibit.
Say for instance, pacing about, webbing, or the like.
I ask this as I am worried if I put a couple of crickets in the tank and it does actually molt, ie. dammage to my T.
My T is about three to three and a half inches leg span, so it can handle a largish cricket, also there is a part of the tank where the crickets hide out and its a bummer trying to get them as I dont wanna stress my T out too much.
Thanks you guys, I look forward to hearing the groups experience.
One more thing, I was putting out the rubbish earlier, where I stay we have a communial rubbish area and there was a fush tank there for collection! Not too huge, just right for a Brachy or something similar. It came straight up the stairs with me, washed in bleach, then soapy, then clear running water and dried off. Yee-har! Just saved myself a couple of bob.
Bye for now.
