  • Anyone any good with identifying Tapi's!?

Bought this as a latipes but i'm not 100% convinced but i don't know why lol

Do latipes have pink setae on legs IV and VIII? Tried mating her with a male bought from the same source but owned by someone else, and she was very receptive! Drumming loudly etc i left them together as everytime he tried to get insertions he fell off! As you can see size was not to his advantage hahaha poor chap. But he got munched the 2nd night they were together

    Any ideas?

Looks like the species to me, they do have pink setae (well the ones i've seen have)
were they together for the whole two days, if so then he probably succeeded.

Yea. The second night i came home to see her eating him... There was a lot of drumming etc and when she ate him she would not leave his body! Even when i moved her tub she ran about trying to hide but not wanting to leave it. And within minutes she was back to him again. And since then she has been out nearly every night, whereas before i never saw her.
