My molly is also quite a bit larger though so I assume that these differences are more to do with maturity. Unless my molly is a he.....?
    Hi Simon I have found a few galleries posted in the past showing the different type of spermathecae the shape even varies between spiders of the same family for example the spermathecae from my Lasiodora parahybana

    So its worth a quick web browse to confirm

      Clinton, you are perfectly correct on the different spermathecae regarding species.

      The picture i posted is of a G rosea, which is what Simon has, just so he has direct comparison.

        Hi Colin
        No probs at all, just like putting in my two penneth here n there.
        I found it fascinating how many variations of spermathecae there are even within the same family it seems strange why there should be a difference at all ?
        Perhaps when i finish my degree in ICT over the next couple of years I can look out for a second one covering our eight legged buddys
