that's a bit scary!
...i'm trying to cut down on them by removing deads where possible. also trapping them in containers with dead matter by having a tiny entrance that's not easy to find when they want to get out seems to help. you bung it in the freezer every day or so. i got that from Sam Marshall's book.
i had a massive amount in with the centipedes, but that was mainly due to the dead mealworm larvae, which i tried to remove. will probably have to keep taking the containers outside so the phorids just go off into the world rather than haunt our house.Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars...
