  • Mexican Red Rump

I got a MRR last week and we gave him a hide and he made a hollow in it but now he's staying behind the hide between the back of it and the tank wall where he's not even in the dark. He's slightly on his side. He did'nt want to move, seems lethargic when my hubby touched his bum to see if he was ok although overnight he had shifted some substrate down between the side of the hide and the wall of the tank but not where he is staying. Shall I just leave him be and see what happens? He was'nt interested in food yesterday either. His abdomen doesn't look big so I don't think he's coming up for a moult. I'm just worried in case there is something wrong.

He/she comes out from behind the hide at dusk and has a wander around so I think he/she is ok. He/she has done a bit of excavating and piled it up by the side of the hide.
