  • M. velvetosoma breeding, any exp. out there?

Im picking up my MM. for my two females today, both of which have motled within the last 2 months and are of good size. Im very excited about these pairings!
Are there any breeders out there that have bred this sp. sucessfully, if so what methods did you employ as far as flooding, cooling, ect.? Ive gone over as much material as I could on them, but I always enjoy first hand advice. Thanks.

I think it maybe a term for moistening the substrate. Hopefully not quite literally, just a figure of speech.

Exactly, to my knowledge it is to trigger sack pproduction in combo with some other cues. It is alleged to mimic a wet period, followed generally by warming.

              Hi!

To my knowledge these never been bred in captivity. The cases I've heard were from the sacs drop by the WC female after arrival, so good luck with trying to breding it and I believe You need this luck!
              All the best,
