I've been following this on other sites, and found the link to this thread today.
So, is the lyra found up closer the body?? That's what I would guess from the pic.

It is on the first segment of the pedipalps which is known as the maxilla, it rubs this against strikers on the cheilcera which are the large segments the fangs attach to.
