  • help getting to the BTS from the South!

turns out the journey to the BTS is a nightmare (and the one back, too), and by train there's no way to get there before 1am.
coach gets to brum by 10, but again, no local trains to Coseley til 12:40, arriving at 1. not sure if there are viable local buses to Coseley or where to find them.
i'm just wondering, cheeky as it is, if anyone coming from down south has a spare spot in a car? or if there are any other suggestions?

Hi James I should check your times. the first train from New Street Birmingham leaves at 8.40 and arrives at 9.34. Then they are every hour until late. Its the same going back

Buses run from Birmingham along the Birmingham New Rd (ask for Coseley). I will post up deatils when I find them

The show is pretty easy to find from Coseley Station ( across the bridge and turn right).

No worries James, hope you can make it. If it was up to me I would organise one in the South East, Eastbourne I think. That way I wouldnt have to make all the rips up north to organise this one.LOL

just a thought but maybe a smaller southern show as well as the northern show wouldnt be such a bad idea, give everyone in the country a better chance of being able to go, would also be alot better for some european traders as they could get ferry or euro star to the south and make their travelling easier

something that is a little concerning: despite that timetable saying there are trains every hour to Coseley, the journey planner for the provider says the first train is at 12:40.
i think i'll call them and find out...watch this space.

Hi james check out the thread "Train times from New Street" Its all on there. Seems the trains have changed. Birmingham to Wolverhampton is the option then catch a taxi or the 126 Bus to Coseley.

All the info is there mate.
