      Hi Michael...it looks *Old World* to me...as a rough guess...Haplopelma or Cyriopagopus of some kind I'd say from that angle.

          lousie all i know shop told me a 'Thai Tiger' thats all i know, your right it is an 'Old World'. I do have other pics of it from a different angle.

                Could do with taking a pic in good natural light, or under a fluorescent light and turn the flash off on your camera...it's causing too much light to reflect back.

                  Haplopelma Albostriatum would be my guess as well.

                      Its not, as far as I can see a H. albostriatum, though it is Haplopelma/Ornithoctonus. Maybe H. Von Worthi or O. huwena.

                        it looked black to start off with as in pic you sent me in the shop Louise but when i took a pic it was brown but doesnt have all white stripes on legs like in pic you sent me to look at.

                          The whole Haplopelma genus is muddy at the moment. there are a lot of Thai Zebras, thai tigers call them what you will coming into the hobby right now.

                          Its Asian and its Haplopelma. what species I dont know without a skin or a body. Buy it, enjoy it and watch your fingers
