I would recommend waiting for the Kempton show which is excellent.
The last Newark show was very very small. (

It'll will only stay small if people keep waiting for a different show. Support = growth.

I cannot make this one but should hopefully be visiting the show in December. But I'm from S****horpe so that doesn't really help does it Naython?

I will be going to Newark, work rota permitting. Yes I agree, more through the door = better next time, Kempton is a big show, but Kettering and Newark could grow to be as big if they were patronised more.

I will be going too, i like the size of the show at least you don,t have to fight your way to get to front of the tables, Lol, its really frendly too as everyone seems to know everyone and if not there seems to be time to make new friends. I loved the BTS event but goodness wasn,t it hot and humid? and it all seemed so manic, the Newark and Kettering events seem far more laid back which suits me fine. But after saying that i am a bit long in the tooth and like a slower pace lol. See you all at Newark i hope. By the way has anyone a Juvenile Blondi for sale that i can pick up from Newark? subject to price of course!

                  i'm going!
sorry Naython, i'll be taking the train up from London as i don't drive.
i liked the last Newark show...granted, it's no BTS, but it was fun, and there were some great buys to be had.

We should support EVERY show if we can. Theres enough people out there who dont like our hobby ....so we should show them that we are normal (reasonably LOL).

We need events like Kettering and Newark and of course the BTS.

I take your point Yvonne ( you should have been there last year phew now that was hot!) but the truth is that it needs to be busy to cover the costs. Kettering struggles as their hall is more expensive than ours. Fair play to the guys who organise it and every other show.

Unfortunatly I cant make either show. Other committments but we will be at the AES in October.

If anyone has any events lined up drop us a Pm and we will post them on our EVENTS board

Support you local shows I say,

well said, Ray! the only way to make these shows bigger and more successful is to attend.

Well said Ray +1. The more support these shows get, the more the general public will understand this hobby. Remember, the very first incarnation of the Glastonbury festival only had about a thousand and half attendees.
