Funny that some consider Birmingham to be up North, I'd always classed it as borderline southern lol.

As for Kent, well that's in the Med. isn't it?

Seriously though, I hope it all comes together for you guys and best of luck with it.

      new show

Matthew, would it not be better if you moved house to somewhere in the North West and set up a show here as we need a Liverpool / Manchester show. I would be more than happy to assist (the show not the moving house) It would be great to get back to the good old days with 2 shows in Stockport and 1 in Oldham every year. I can but dream !

hurrah! well remind us closer to the date, i am sure it'll be well attended. at that point i think there are no shows, so shouldn't be too much a conflict with other ones.
wish you all the best, and you shall see me there if at all possible!
        and the south is best!!!

            Thanks Richard

We will give the BTS tables pride of place in the main hall.

We consider North to be anywhere above watford, where no-one speaks proper english like wot we do darn sarth, But all you Lovely Northeners get your passports out and come down to the Garden that is Kent, where you will be made very welcome, but we will not accept any asylum requests on the day.

All going well I wont be here to go to it but Chris I hope your guys pull it off,

But personally I think its to close to the BTS lectures, so would be saving my pennies for the lectures.

I think that a show up there in the middlands = Yorkshire way is a good idea ( the only true northeners are from Scotland ......in the North).

I have often wondered what would happen if a large spider/live invert show was established around the same time as Kempton? I mean there are very few people out there with live stuff who also cross the barrier to the dead side, many people have posted on this and other sites that they object to the amount of dead stuff for sale at kempton, so if a live show was established (with the accordingly cheaper tables for traders, as opposed to the £40 per table kempton ones) I know where i would go.

              Food for thought

              Ray

I'll take this as a personal invite then Chris (bed and breakfast will be fine) I love going to the shows but with fuel prices as they are you end up spending more on petrol than you do on tarantula's. I was gutted when I moved back from Basingstoke to the land of the living (Cheshire), looking forward to the Leeds show in October (now theres a strange language !)

                  No probs tony

Will egg and bacon do? will your visa from the Northern embassy allow you to stay in the south overnight.

As for petrol see if other members from Cheshire want to join you and car share, its what we do when we drive up to Shows. and makes it more affordable.

Next year at the BTS show come and see me on the Invicta Table and i will give you your B&B booking slip.

                  Regards Chris
