  • BTS display at Manchester Museum

    The BTS will have an exhibit at Manchester Museum on Saturday the 21st June 2008. It's a free event and forms part of National Insect Week.

    I might add that Manchester Museum is a fantastic place too... they also have live snakes frogs and lizards in huge planted vivaria.

      Yes, the live frog displays are the best I've ever seen. Some of the vivs are as big as a standard living room, with mini ecosystems catering for several different species.

      It'll be a good day out for anybody in the area, so call by our stand to say hello if you can.

        Guy Tansley and myself represented the BTS at the above event yesterday. It was a long day, with a constant stream of museum visitors viewing our display stand.

        The museum had invited the BTS to attend the event and this gave us an excellent platform to engage with the general public - answering questions and dispelling a few myths along the way.

        Hard work - but well worth the effort!
