  • B. baumgarteni

I'm getting ready for the big event! My male B. baumgarteni is on his back moulting as I'm typing this, could be his maturation moult. Sadly my camera takes terrible pictures in the dark, so I'll have to get some post moult ones in the morning. Wish him luck!

      Thanks Jason,
His moult was a total success and I've checked the skin this morning - he definitely is a he. Not matured yet though, could be another big male spid!

Not at the moment sadly Matthew. All my Brachys are male in various stages of immarurity (and thats not a reference to my hair-flicking obsessed bohemi). When he's ready I'd love to find him a female but for the moment I need a bigger tank for my T. apophysis, a female for my T. pruriens, a female for my H. schmidti and some asprin! Thanks Matthew
