my adult female L para has webbed alot in her tank
more then usual, not just a layer on the sub but
from the sides of the tank down in very fine strands but
loads of them. there seem to be fine strands around her legs
and body which i've just removed
she never really does this much and she is constantly
picking/chewing away at an air hole in the lid of her tank.
(and has 2 legs sticking out of the hole while she's doing it)

this has been going on for weeks. Nothing has changed
    regarding temps/substrate/etc

    any thoughts?????

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning thats as good as their going to feel all day.

My L.Para has done this on a couple of occasions when i had her in an all glass tank with a metal viv lid on the top.Had no explanation at all but since she's been in a wood viv with sliding glass doors she hasn,t repeated it.

Was your L.Para sticking its teeth in the hole aswell?.......to be honest,to me it sounds like its trying to escape.Mine actually managed it once by lifting the viv lid up with her fangs and squeezing itself through the gap she created

        Hi Dee
Same here after her last moult in June my L para has gone mad in the webbing department spending more time pretending she is arboreal than a ground dweller, she has covered a 30 x 15 x 15 inch tank top to bottom and side to side completely in web. It got to the stage that I could not see in and had to clean the web away from the front of the tank but she keeps putting it back again. She is using the web to catch prey items as well something a "T" is not supposed to usually do ( but she obviously has not read the same spider books as me ) even as I type this now she is on the lid of her viv putting more web up
Same as you temp constant at 80deg daytime dropping to 70deg at night

Attached are a couple of piccys of her hanging on the lid of the viv and like yours she try's to escape if a chance arrives
perhaps its the time of year??
